STEEL PRODUCT CERTIFICATION

CUSTOMERS:

Domestic steel manufacturers, steel importing enterprises, and organizations using steel in construction and industrial projects.

CERTIFICATION OBJECTS:

Steel products subject to quality management under national technical regulations, including reinforcing steel, construction steel, structural steel, steel coils, steel plates, steel pipes, and other steel products used in construction and industry.

LEGAL BASIS:

• Joint Circular No. 44/2013/TTLT-BCT-BKHCN dated December 31, 2013 on regulations on quality management of domestically produced and imported steel.
• Joint Circular No. 58/2015/TTLT-BCT-BKHCN dated December 31, 2015 on regulations on quality management of domestically produced and imported steel.
• Decision No. 1408/QĐ-TĐC dated July 4, 2014, appointing FCC Company to carry out steel inspection in accordance with Joint Circular No. 44/2013/TTLT-BCT-BKHCN.
• Decision No. 414/QĐ-BCT dated January 14, 2015, appointing FCC Company to conduct steel quality testing in accordance with Joint Circular No. 44/2013/TTLT-BCT-BKHCN.
• Decision No. 686/TĐC-HCHQ dated April 3, 2017, certifying FCC Company’s registration to conduct inspection of domestically produced and imported steel.
• Decision No. 1209/TĐC-HCHQ dated May 30, 2017, certifying FCC Company’s registration to conduct testing activities.
• Decision No. 997/QĐ-TĐC dated June 22, 2017, appointing FCC Company to conduct testing of steel for concrete reinforcement in accordance with QCVN 7:2011/BKHCN.
• Decision No. 1041/QĐ-TĐC dated June 27, 2017, appointing FCC Company to conduct steel quality inspection in accordance with Joint Circular No. 58/2015/TTLT-BCT-BKHCN.
• Certificate No. 205/12CN issued by the Vietnam Register, recognizing FCC Company to conduct steel testing in accordance with QCVN 21:2010/BGTVT.

GUIDELINES FOR CERTIFICATION REQUESTS:

Customers are required to submit:

• Inspection/Testing request, clearly stating the inspection or testing requirements, time and location of inspection, and contact person.
• Information on the shipment (B/L, packing list, customs declaration, invoice, manufacturer’s certificates, etc.).
