INSPECTION OF CARGO QUANTITY (SHIPS & TANKS)

CUSTOMERS:

Sellers, import–export companies, ship owners, charterers (when quantity reconciliation at loading/discharging is required), P&I Clubs / insurers (in case of claims or quantity disputes)

SURVEY OBJECTS:

Bulk cargo quantities on board vessels (coal, ore, agricultural products, fertilizer, cement, etc.).
Liquid cargo volume/quantity in tanks: ship tanks or shore tanks, petroleum products, chemicals, edible oil, etc.

SURVEY SERVICES:

1. Bulk Cargo Quantity Survey (Draft Survey): Determination of loaded/discharged cargo quantity based on the difference in vessel displacement before and after operations

2. Liquid Cargo Quantity Survey: Measurement of cargo levels in tanks (ship/shore), conversion using calibration tables, correction for temperature & density to obtain actual volume and mass

GUIDELINES FOR SURVEY REQUEST:

• Customers are required to submit:
• A survey request clearly stating the scope, time and location of the survey, and contact person
• Information related to the cargo shipment (B/L, packing list, Customs declaration, Invoice, etc.)
