FUMIGATION OF WAREHOUSES AND SILOS

CUSTOMERS:

Manufacturing enterprises, import–export companies, agricultural product traders, warehouse and silo operators, processing plants, and organizations or individuals with a need for pest control during goods storage.

FUMIGATION TARGETS:

Warehouses, agricultural storage silos, factories, production lines, and areas related to goods preservation. Commonly treated commodities include rice, grains, coffee, animal feed, food products, production materials, and goods at high risk of infestation by insects, weevils, mold, or harmful animals during storage. In addition, the service is also applied to pallets, warehouse floors, and surrounding areas to prevent pest sources from the external environment.

LEGAL BASIS:

FCC is an independent fumigation and inspection organization licensed by the Department of Crop Production & Plant Protection, with fumigation certificates having legal validity. The fumigation process complies with the Department’s guidelines and meets the quarantine requirements of importing countries. The Fumigation Certificate issued by FCC is widely accepted at destination ports.

FUMIGATION SERVICES:

Services include fumigation of warehouses and factories using mist spraying or ULV spraying methods to eliminate flying and crawling insects; fumigation of sealed warehouses and grain silos using gases such as Phosphine (PH₃) to completely eradicate insects at all stages of development; fumigation of pallets, warehouse floors, and materials in contact with goods; and termite control services to protect warehouse and factory structures in the long term.

METHODS – PROCEDURES:

FCC’s warehouse fumigation process is carried out using safe methods with strict control. First, FCC specialists conduct an on-site survey to identify pest types, infestation levels, warehouse architecture, and the characteristics of stored goods. Based on this assessment, FCC proposes an appropriate fumigation plan and implements necessary sealing and covering measures for enclosed warehouses. Fumigation is performed by well-trained technicians, using chemicals at appropriate dosages and placing warning signs throughout the treatment period. After the required exposure time, FCC ventilates the area and measures residual gas concentrations using specialized equipment to ensure absolute safety before handover. Upon completion, FCC provides reports and fumigation certificates as requested by customers.
