INSPECTION OF WOOD CHIPS FOR EXPORT
CUSTOMERS:
Woodchip processing and exporting enterprises; trading companies; organizations and individuals
SURVEY OBJECTS:
Exported woodchips of all types (acacia, eucalyptus, rubber wood, etc.), transported by bulk carriers or specialized vessels, used in pulp, paper, and related industrial production, in accordance with sales contracts and import market standards such as Japan, Korea, China, and the EU
LEGAL BASIS:
FCC’s woodchip export survey activities are conducted in accordance with Vietnamese regulations on commercial inspection, applicable standards and technical regulations, and international maritime surveying practices
SURVEY SERVICES:
FCC provides comprehensive export woodchip surveying services, including: quantity determination by Draft Survey for cargo loaded on vessels; condition survey of cargo during loading operations; representative sampling to determine moisture content, impurity ratio, chip size distribution, and overall quality assessment of the shipment in accordance with contractual requirements or buyer specifications
MARKET COVERAGE:
FCC offices in Quang Ninh and Quy Nhon are currently carrying out export woodchip surveys to Japan, Korea, China, and the EU, equipped with woodchip size classification systems and drying equipment to meet customer requirements
GUIDELINES FOR SURVEY REQUEST:
When required, customers should submit a survey request clearly stating the scope of survey, time and location, and contact details. Relevant shipment documents should also be provided, including the sales contract, Bill of Lading (B/L), packing list, vessel information, loading port, and any specific technical requirements of the buyer (if any). FCC also provides a “Survey Request Form” for customer convenience
