ASSESSMENT OF THE CONDITION AND SEALABILITY OF SHIPS

CUSTOMERS:

Ship owners, charterers, insurance companies, ship buyers and investors, as well as parties involved in maritime disputes and claims.

LEGAL BASIS:

Inspection capability accredited in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020 (VICAS 043).

Services are carried out in compliance with maritime inspection practices, contractual requirements (Charter Party), requirements of P&I Clubs/Insurance, and the vessel’s certification and classification systems (Class/ISM/ISPS, etc., based on provided documentation).

INSPECTION SERVICES:

1.   Pre- and Post-Charter Inspection: Recording the condition of the vessel and (if required) fuel quantities before delivery/redelivery. This serves as the basis for determining damages arising during the charter period and assigning responsibility.

2.   General Condition & Seaworthiness Inspection: Comprehensive assessment to conclude whether the vessel is fit and safe for the intended voyage or contract.

3.   Cargo Hold Watertightness Test: Inspection of hatch cover tightness to minimize the risk of water ingress causing cargo damage. Methods include hose test or ultrasonic test.

WIDE MARKET COVERAGE:

Available at major seaports such as Cat Lai, Cai Mep, etc., providing 24/7 services to minimize impacts on vessel schedules.

  • An inspection request clearly stating the inspection requirements, time and location of inspection, and contact person.
  • Information on the shipment (B/L, packing list, customs declaration, invoice, etc.).
