History of Formation and Development

The following is the formation and operation process of FCC Inspection and Disinfection Joint Stock Company, aiming to provide quality certification and inspection services to society:

  • 1989

    Preparations for the establishment of the FCC

  • January 11, 1990

    Foodstuff Quality Control and Standardization Center 2 (FCC); Headquarters: 135 Pasteur Street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City

  • 1993

    FCC renamed: Center for Inspection of Agricultural Products and Goods for Import and Export

  • 1996

    FCC officially relocates its office to: 45 Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

  • 1999

    FCC renamed: Center for Inspection of Imported and Exported Goods

  • 2001

    The FCC operates independently.

  • 2002

    FCC renamed: FCC Inspection and Disinfection Company

  • 2004

    FCC proceeds with the privatization of enterprises.

  • 2006

    FCC officially operates as a joint-stock company.

  • 2015

    The state will divest 100% of its shares.

Legal capacity

FCC Inspection & Fumigation Joint Stock Company is an organization specializing in product inspection, fumigation, analysis, testing, and certification, established and operating in accordance with Vietnamese law. It possesses full legal status, professional functions, and legal capacity in line with national and international standards.

It is designated by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, and other specialized management agencies in various fields of inspection, testing, quality certification, quarantine, and fumigation of goods.

Business registration certificate

Business registration number: 0300608624. Issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh City on August 3, 2006, amended for the 9th time on October 16, 2025.

Accreditation Certificate for Inspection Organizations (VIAS 021)

The Accreditation Certificate for Inspection Organizations (VIAS 021) certifying their competence to conduct inspections in accordance with TCVN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 is issued by the Accreditation Office (BoA) under the National Accreditation Office of the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality.

Accreditation Certificate for Certification Bodies (VICAS 043 - PRO)

The Accreditation Certificate (VICAS 043 - PRO) recognizes the organization's competence to conduct assessments and certifications of products in accordance with TCVN ISO/IEC 17065:2012, issued by the Accreditation Office (BoA) under the General Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality - Ministry of Science and Technology.

Laboratory Accreditation Certificate (VILAS 528)

The Laboratory Accreditation Certificate (VILAS 528) certifying that the laboratory has sufficient testing competence in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is issued by the Accreditation Office (BoA) under the National Accreditation Office of the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality.

Construction Activity Capacity Certificate

Consulting and supervision of construction projects, design, and design review of civil engineering structures and industrial buildings of categories 1, 2, and 3.

Plant treatment practice certification

Fumigation for imported, exported, and domestically stored goods is permitted by the Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection.
